happy new year!!!!!!

this past year i feel like my art has developed a bit!!!! not a lot, just a bit. i tend to change my art style every year, but idk. i grew a sort of bond with this art style and changing it would just be weird to me, but i plan to go ahead in the future with this one!!!

uhhh for my new year's resolution......every year it seems that i always want my art style to get better, but here's something different. other than wanting my art style to get better, i want to become big. i want to get more people to follow/watch me so it could maybe motivate me to draw more, since i haven't drawn anything ever since the new year started (but maybe i'll draw something today who knows). so far on tumblr i wasn't very successful with all those promo posts going around...... but i know i need to keep trying so i could reach my goal!!!!!!

i also plan to draw more of my ocs. that doesn't mean i won't draw any more fanart, but the amount of art i've done on my ocs is very dismal and i don't really think i could get really far in life if all i do is draw fanart, y'know??

the only thing stopping me is.... school, really. my ap bio class is the bane of my existence and my family really wants me to focus on that class so i could actually pass with a decent grade, but focusing on that means i won't have a lot of time to draw or really do anything productive during the week. 8(

so!!!!!!!!! that may mean that i will start posting some of my traditional art, and possibly post a new drawing every friday/saturday!!! i really hope that this works out, because well. i really want to go far with the stuff i do, and if i don't do anything right now then i'll never be able to have a chance like this ever again!! ever since high school started i've never had the time to get off my butt and draw whenever i have free time because i'm always so exhausted when i get home, but i hope this year will be different.
